Margaret McDonough

Margaret L. McDonough, age 79 of Coshocton, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Margaret was born November 18, 1934 in Sidney, Ohio to the late Edward and Gertrude Lauterbur.

She was a retired teacher having taught at Miami East School District and Coshocton City Schools, and was a member of OEA and NEA. Margaret was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Kenneth M. McDonough; sons Mark (Lucy) McDonough, John (Lori) McDonough, Peter McDonough and Stephen McDonough ; daughter Monica (Barry) Smith; grandchildren Andrew, Christopher, Catherine, Morgan, Hunter, Olivia, Colin and Sean; Pets Wilbur and Oliver.

Friends may visit Friday from 5-7 PM at Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave. Coshocton, Ohio, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 805 Main St. Coshocton, with Rev. Fr. Victor R. Wesolowski Celebrant. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
