On May 10, 2008, Mary married David Lee Culver, who survives her.
Mary graduated from high school in 1974 and went on to build a career in factory work, eventually becoming employed by Kraft Foods. Her faith was a meaningful part of her life, and she was a faithful member of the Church of God of Coshocton.
She was a loving and devoted wife and dedicated caregiver to her husband, David. She found joy in the simple things in life, especially singing, listening to David play the guitar, and cooking for those she loved. She also had a special passion for sending cards to family and friends. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary is survived by her husband, David Culver of West Lafayette; her brothers, William (Virginia) Norman of New Mexico and Don (Vickie) Shaw of Tennessee; and her sisters, Bessie West of Coshocton and Martha (Bob) Bockey of Warsaw; along with several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her niece, Jessica Shaw.
Calling hours will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Barbi Erbe and Jim Childers officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Mary’s name to the American Cancer Society.
