

Pauline P. Stalter, age 79, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away with her family at her side, on November 27, 2011 at Autumn Health Care. She was born in Baltimore, Ohio on June 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Daniel Russell and Delphia Luthenia (Farmer) Smeck. Pauline was a 1950 graduate of Thurston High School. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and a volunteer for missionary maintenance service. On August 6, 1950 she married George A. Stalter, who preceded her in death on August 2, 2007. She is survived by her three children, Gary (Carolyn) Stalter of Jupiter, FL, Gloria (Mike) Drobnack of Coshocton, and Nancy (Jeff) Zerbe of Coshocton; six grandchildren, Ken (Sarah) Drobnack, Michael Drobnack, Shane Zerbe, Derek Zerbe, Gary Stalter Jr, and Katy Stalter; two great grandchildren, Zoe Drobnack, and Tirzah Drobnack; two brothers, Richard (Shirley) Smeck, and Donald Smeck. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Daniel Russell Jr, and Calvin Smeck; and one sister, Elise Rutter. Funeral services will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Friday, December 2, 2011, at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery along with the internment of Pauline’s husband, George A. Stalter and George’s uncle, Francis Blauser taking place. Visitation will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 6-8:00PM, and on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Grace United Methodist Church, one hour prior to the time of service.
