Pete was born in Coshocton on August 1, 1982 to Jean Ann (Clark) Dunlap and the late Larry G. Leach. He was a graduate of the class of 2000 at River View High School. On May 16, 2014, he married his sweetheart, Toni Cooper. Pete worked as a sales representative for Tye Twarog Racing. He was a racing fanatic and enjoyed anything with cars and racing. He also loved spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, bow shooting, and tubing. Pete enjoyed his trips to the beach as well. However, Pete especially loved spending time with his three sons and his family.
Pete is survived by his wife, Toni Cooper, three sons: Caden, Cameron, and Dominic Leach; mother, Jean Ann (Ron) Dunlap, honorary daughter/sister-in-law, Kendall Helms, two brothers-in-law, Shane Cooper and Spencer Withrow, mother-in-law, Pam Withrow, grandfather, Robert D. Clark, Sr., three aunts: Cheryl Kuhn, Patty Jarvis, Kay Arth; one uncle, Bob Clark, Jr., one niece, Aurora Cooper, and many other family members and friends.
Along with his father, Pete is preceded in death by two grandmothers, Eileen Leach and Rosetta “Granny” Medley, and special uncle, John Calvin.
Per the family’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Calling hours for Pete will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 from 4-6 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday with Bryan Casey officiating.
