Robert “Robbie” Dale Warne, age 68, of West Lafayette, Ohio, took his final journey to his eternal Heavenly Home on Saturday, June 27, 2026. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on April 21, 1958, to the late Dale and Mona (Mapel) Warne.
Robbie was a 1976 graduate of Ridgewood High School. He continued his education in the Dental Lab field, owning and operating Warne Dental Lab.
He was a member of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church and enjoyed watching Joel Osteen and listening to Christian Rock music.
Robbie was a man with a humble character. He had fierce loyalty to his daughters, Autumn and Savannah. He had a quiet strength but could also be very witty and quick to laugh. Spoken from a friend, “Robbie embodied all of his family’s great traits: heart, toughness, creativity, and drive” and he had an extreme passion to help those living with special needs.
From the time Robbie was 14 years old, he worked summers for Charlie Easter Construction. It was from those years he learned a trade that gave him the knowledge to design every detail of a unique home overlooking the town he loved. “The house on the hill” will forever hold special memories for so many.
Robbie married his High School sweetheart, Sueann Babcock, on August 18, 1978. They always felt their special bond was chosen by God to tackle the challenges life had in store for them.
Robbie and Sueann dedicated the majority of their non-working hours to the special care needed for their oldest daughter, Autumn, who lived with Rett Syndrome. Robbie and Autumn had a very special bond that did not require a “spoken word.” There can be no doubt that Autumn welcomed her Dad into Heaven with her beautiful smile while showing off her new skills of singing and dancing.
He loved rainy days and thunderstorms. He also loved watching sprint car and NASCAR races on TV and especially OSU football, usually watching with his devoted friends. Robbie had a very special “Group of Buddies” that over the years became like family. They gathered for not only the fun times but could always be counted on for the hard times that came into life as well.
Robbie loved music of all kinds. He especially enjoyed the evenings, having “garage time” with his wife, listening to and sometimes dancing to their favorite music. One of their most favorite albums was "The Long Road Out of Eden by the Eagles".
He treasured when his older brothers, Roger, Dave, Steve, and Ron (Tiny) got together. They could talk for hours, reminiscing about their younger years growing up. They shared so much laughter and love together.
Despite spending the last 2 ½ years of Robbie’s life traveling to doctors, searching for answers to his health decline, a very special blessing came into his life, his first grandchild, Malakai Warne Hill. Robbie had so many plans for the two of them. Although we were not nearly ready for Robbie to leave us, God could see his pain and suffering, so he closed his eyes for his peaceful eternal rest.
Robbie was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Autumn; his parents, Mona and Dale Warne; his mother and father-law, Dick and Nancy Babcock; his brother, Steve Warne, niece, Brittainy Warne-Murphy.
He is survived by his cherished wife of 47 years, Sueann Warne, daughter, Savannah Warne and her family; his brothers, Roger (Marcia) Warne and Dave (Marsha) Warne and their families; along with many nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Fairfield Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:30 pm at the KOA M Event Center, 24688 County Road 10, Coshocton, Ohio. Please feel free to come with your best stories of Robbie. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
