Roger Leroy Waite

In May 1958, Roger married Marcella (Roberts) Waite, who preceded him in death on November 7, 2021.

He graduated from Manchester High School in the mid-1940s, where he was part of a graduating class of just four students. Roger worked as a farmer and, beginning in the mid-1960s, was also employed by the Grain Company, where he remained a dedicated employee for many years.

Roger was known for his hardworking nature. When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed fishing and traveling with his wife, Marcella. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his children, Sheryle (Barry) Arnold of Fresno, Barbara Waite of Coshocton, Steve (Nina) Waite of California, Brian (Tammie) Waite of Coshocton, and Sandra (Dan) Linssen of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Chris, John, Josh, Chad, Jennifer, Natalie, Justin, Kelsey Jo, Nick, and Nate; and 14 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other family, friends, and loved ones.

In addition to his wife, Roger is preceded in death by his parents and his nine siblings.

Per Roger’s wishes, a cremation will take place. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
