

Virginia Elizabeth “Pooley” Lewis age 79 of Coshocton, entered into eternity with her Heavenly Father with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, April, 29 2015. She was born on August 27, 1935 in Conesville to the late Leonard and Frances Gwilliams Poole. Virginia retired from Interm Home Health following 13 years of service as an aide. She loved God and her church. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church where she had volunteered to work with the youth, was head of the kitchen and helped with missions. Pooley enjoyed playing BINGO, family, cooking, traveling to different casinos, and serving others.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lewis who passed away July 31, 1999; brothers, Homer and Marty Poole and a sister, Linda Beckley.
She is survived by her sons, James, Charles, Raymond “Timmy”, Floyd and Bruce Lewis; daughters, Mary Breeding, Shari Aronhalt, Brenda Harper and LeVahn McVay; sisters, Patti Hicks and Barbra Lippert; 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services celebrating Virginia’s life will be held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Shiloh Baptist Church, 407 S. 7th St, Coshocton, OH with Pastor Cliff Biggers officiating. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will take place at South Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: LeVahn McVay, 1617 S. 6th Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812. Services have been entrusted to the Given-Dawson Funeral Home.
