Wallace Brown Bedford, age 74, of Plainfield, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Monday, November, 21, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born on August 1, 1937, the son of the late Joseph Carter and Emma Faye (Barlow) Bedford. Wallace served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960, then again from 1961-1967. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as a Flight Service Specialist and retired in 1992. On November 24, 1956, Wallace married Edith A. (Richmond) Bedford, who survives. Also surviving our his three children, Terra Bedford, Qyn (Lori) Bedford, and Tama (Tim) Leasure all of Plainfield, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Frank Joseph Porter, Christopher (Alexia) Bedford, Matthew Bedford, Ted Coriell, Nathan (Alissa) Coriell, Alex (Marissa) Coriell, and Nikki Leasure; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin (Dottie) Bedford and Stanley Bedford; and two sisters, Sylvia Bray and Lenita (Don) Charhut. In addition to his parents Wallace is preceded in death by his brother William Bedford, and sister Lola Warren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of the Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton, Ohio with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Plainfield Cemetery where the Coshocton County Veterans Council will perform military honors.
