

William Howard Bush, age 88, passed away at Emeritus Assisted Living in Zanesville, Ohio, on Monday, March 26, 2012. He was born on October 8, 1923, the son of the late Zacharias and Agnes (Wilson) Bush. Bill graduated from Coshocton High School in 1941. He joined the United States Navy on February 20, 1943, and served during World War II until December 11, 1945. Bill worked at AK Steel as a roll grinder for many years before retiring in 1989. He is a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church, Coshocton Elks Lodge #376, and the VFW 2040. On June 27, 1981 he married Imogene A. (Lower) Bush, who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter, Vicki L. (James) Johnson of Coshocton, Ohio; step daughter, Carol Ann (Jack) Riggle of Coshocton, Ohio; four grandchildren; James Brandon (Teena) Johnson, Andrea K. (Jason) Snow, and Don and Derek Ely; three great grandchildren, Gerrik, Collier, and Kydron Snow; one brother, Charlie Bush; and two sisters Margret Waller and Louise Jones. In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia (Blackson) Bush; and brother, Robert Bush. Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 30, 2012 in the Chapel of the Given-Dawson Funeral Home with Pastor Coralee Cox officiating.
