Andy was born in Pottstown, PA, and graduated from Penn State University where he was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity. After moving to California, he spent 30+ years as an aerospace engineer at McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. He loved travelling the world as part of his job, but certainly had an affinity for Europe with his wife, Coralie. He also cherished his time golfing with his friends and colleagues from work nearly every week he was able. He cooked a great deal at home, and though he loved exploring new restaurants, he was often happiest with a Philly cheesesteak sandwich reminiscent of his upbringing. Other hobbies and interests included watching a variety of sports on television, BBC murder mysteries, The Food Network, every Rick Steves European travel show, and also keeping the household incredibly organized.
He is survived by his wife, Coralie; daughters Julie and Lisa Katch, grandchildren Aila and Oliver Hamilton, and his sister Monica Larkin. "
