Angelo was born in Harlem and was a resident of New York City for 35 years before moving to California.
He was the son of Angelo De Vito and Pauline Alessandro De Vito. Angelo is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Rosalie Cohen De Vito, his children David Angelo De Vito (Melinda), Tobi Alessandro De Vito (Karen), and grandchild Benjamin Alessandro De Vito Franz.
A private ceremony was held at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park.
