I miss Barry.  He reached out to me a couple years before his passing in 2018 because he was worried about me entering into a caretaking arrangement that he felt wasn't good for me.  That was the Barry I knew.  He was more than my former therapist, he was my lifelong friend.  I met him in the 80's, when I was in my mid 20's, and he made a huge positive impact on my life.  I am so grateful that I was able to meet with him a couple times for lunch the years right before leaving the area in 2017.  We stayed in touch, and I miss Barry. I loved him and all his "craziness".  

I hope you are at peace, Barry.

He made me laugh. He had a very wry wit. He is missed alot!

I met Barry when I was 24 years old.  I am now 60.  We kept in touch throughout the years but I just heard of his passing today, Aug 5, 2020.  It broke my heart.... 

We had lost touch when he left Facebook in April of this year and I am so very sorry to hear of his passing in May. 

Barry played a large role in my life and I will forever hold his memory close to my heart.  He helped me pass through some of the hardest times of my life and I was so happy to have had the opportunity to meet up for lunch with him and a mutual friend before I left California a few years ago.  We stayed friends on Facebook and I am grateful for that connection.  Even though we didn't see eye to eye on everything, I truly valued his friendship.

I hope you are at peace Barry...until we meet again.

Was so upset to hear about his passing.  I remember the last time he was here in our office.  

He was such a nice man we loved him.

It breaks my heart that he isn't with us now as he should be.

Barry I know you are in a better place but, we will miss you.
