Betty Drader

Betty Ann Drader, 65, passed away on December 3, 2021, at home in Henderson, NV. She was surrounded by her family who loved her. She was a kind, gentle, loving and beloved wife, daughter, mother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She is survived by many loved ones, including her husband Jeff, mother Lee, siblings Jerry, Joanne, Renee and Bonnie, and children Jennifer, Michael, and Molly, and their spouses Travis, Natasha and Leah.

Betty was born January 10, 1956 to Lee and Howard Sobelman. Betty was a happy baby that smiled and laughed a lot. She loved her big brother, Jerry, and admired him over the years.

Betty attended Cheremoya and Melrose Elementary schools, Bancroft Jr. High and graduated from Fairfax High School. Betty attended Cal State Northridge. She worked as a legal secretary and later earned her real estate license.

Betty met Jeff in the elevator of their apartment complex in North Hollywood, CA in 1975. They were married June 1, 1980 at Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, CA. Betty took great pride in her three children. Jennifer was born in 1984, Michael in 1992 and Molly in 1994.

Betty's kindness, infectious laugh, and love of family will forever be in our hearts.

Services will be held at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park and Mortuary, 1625 Gisler Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 12 pm. A shared meal will immediately follow.
