Charles "Chuck" Purdy Rowley took his Heavenly Father's hand and entered the Gates of Heaven on June 14th, 2012, where he joins his parents Mattie Lou Frost & Frank Grant Rowley and sister Ann Lindsey. Born August 30, 1936 he grew up in Laguna Beach, Ca. Chuck proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958. He worked in the Title Insurance industry for over 45 years at 1st American Title and Chicago/Fidelity Title. He was an avid golfer; Chairman of the BIA annual golf tournament for 35 years and a 40 year member of Mesa Verde Country Club.
Chuck is survived by his wife Jeanne (married June 18, 1977) and 6 children: Cathy Feister, Chuck Colletti Jr., Nikki Colletti, Carrie Rowley, Frank Rowley & Lisa Frey; 10 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren.
Chuck’s life celebration-including 50's music and his favorite foods-will be held at MESA VERDE COUNTRY CLUB, CLUB HOUSE DR., COSTA MESA SATURDAY JUNE 16TH 2012, 11AM-1PM. In a private ceremony his ashes will be interred at Rosecrans Military Cemetery in Point Loma, San Diego, Ca.
