I just found out today what happened. My condolences go out to your family and widow. I remember seeing you at school and you'd always say hi and give me a hug. I had math with you my first semester and you talked to me about Invader Zim. The school newspaper printed an article about you and even though I graduated last spring, I come to visit OCC every once in a while. That is where i saw it, and I just couldn't believe it. I enjoyed our conversations and talks about school and class grades. I remember when you told me that you were going to get your motorcycle license, and I was a little worried when you told me. You were an awesome guy and I hope you are resting in peace now. I will never forget you and your infectious smile :)

My sincere condolences to David's family at this difficult time.  David grew to be such an amazing young man, hard working, and responsible.  We, his neighbors who watched him grow up, thought of him as "one of our kids".  David had just recently told me of his plans to go back to school full-time so he could earn his degree that much faster.  He kept his nose to the grind-stone in all he did.  We will miss him always.
