Dennis Paul Goldberg, born on November 17, 1942, died January 1, 2013 with his wife Paula at his side. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and resided for the past 42 years in California. Dennis was a founder of the Jewish Studies Institute Day School which was the impetus for the non-orthodox Jewish day school movement in Orange County. He was also a founder and first treasurer of Congregation B’nai Israel in Tustin. He is survived by his wife Paula, daughter Eliana (Steven) Levey of New York, son Michael (Robyn) Goldberg of Phoenix, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Len and Liz Zander. The joys of his life were his grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecca, Liora and Asher. Dennis will live in our hearts forever. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 6th at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park and Mortuary, Costa Mesa. Shiva at family home the following Monday through Thursday, 7:00 p.m.
