Donna I. Lesk

Donna I. Lesk was born in Los Angeles, CA on August 05, 1943 to Charles Schraier and Julia Milstein Schraier. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1961 and attended LA City College where she completed her AA degree. Donna enrolled in Cal State LA and majored in Child Development. Her desire to teach influenced her to go to Fulleron JC and earn a certificate in Preschool administration. While attending school she reconnected with her childhood friend, Paul Lesk, through family and soon married on October 13, 1964. They recently celebrated 57 years of marriage.

Donna was a stay at home mom, but also worked as a classroom aid at Riverdale Elementary School, a customer service representative for SASS and a Tupperware manager for over 20 years.

Donna loved to be with family in any way she could. She loved to laugh, but more than anything, she loved her husband, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their dog Gizmo.

Donna passed on November 19 in Anaheim, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Julia, her sister Marlene Fields and her husband Len Fields. Her niece Kim Fields Becker and niece Sarah McLeod.

She is survived by her brother Richard Schraier, husband Paul, son Craig and wife Lisa., daughter Karen Lesk Samet and husband Peter, grandchildren: Charlie Lesk, Josh Samet and Nicole Samet; nieces: Robin Sherman and husband Nate. Ellen McLeod and husband Paul, Tracy Costanzo and husband John, Jamie Schmidt and husband Chris and her great nieces and nephews.
