Doug was and always will be one of my dearest friends.  I miss him more than I can express.  There is no better example of how a person should conduct themselves.  He was my lunch partner, my escort to so many company events and a true, true gentleman.
Julie, Jeanette and Helen - you will always be in my thoughts.

Doug's warm caring nature will be missing in the Lightspeed/Galaxy office.
He took such good care of us. Always made us coffee, greeted us with a smile & a hello and wished a good day. I will miss looking into his office to catch for a couple of minutes before I left in the morning.

The only way to be more impressed with the life Doug led was to spend time with his two wonderful daughters and the rest of his family and friends Saturday.  Doug's Service and the get together afterwards was another insight into the very positive legacy he leaves behind.  Julie and Jeanette are absolute sweethearts and knowing that Doug brought so much joy to them and their families makes me only that much more endeared with Doug.  He will be so incredibly missed by his 'work family' as Julie put it so well, and we can only hope that our 'families' paths continue to cross into the future.  Our support and prayers will continue to go Julie, Jeanette, Helen and their families as they continue to cope with their tremendous loss but know his memories will last a lifetime.

Doug I will miss talking to you at the end of my day. I will miss you.

Doug's celebration was so joyful and enlightening. He was a funny, kind, thoughtful gentleman.

Although it's been a number of years since I've seen Doug, I still remember him with great fondness.  Always a smile on his face, always helpful, always a friend.  You are one of the great ones, Doug.  God bless. - elaine

Doug will be missed.  I still walk by his office and peek in as I leave and am ready to give him a big 'SEE YA!'  He knew all of our comings and goings, if you were leaving early, leaving late, if you looked like there was trouble brewing.  
To the family - you two girls and the grand kids - He loved you all so much! His eyes twinkled and a smile started whenever there was any discussion of any of you.  We were cheering for him with the Girl Scout cookies and told him he needed to get better inventory so he could sell more.  
Many times Doug would be going out to the desert at the same time I would and we would compare notes on how HOT is was out there.  But he was happy to go!
Doug - you will be missed, who knew that we were both Dodger and UCLA fans and you even cheered on my 49ers. 

Be at Peace, I'm sure you will be up there playing the WII and winning at golf or tennis.

How do you say good-bye after spending so much of the last 27 years together? Doug was always more than a co-worker to me and I will miss him always.

RIP Doug...I have known you for over 5years and days in and out we say good morning, lunch time, and good nite. I am going to miss our ritual. May the Great God be with you!!!You are surely going to be miss here at office.

He was the first person I saw as I came to work every day and he always had a smile on his face. I will miss saying Good morning Doug as I walk in. Your laughter and warm personality will truly be missed.

I had the priviledge of knowing Doug for the last 15 years at Galaxy, he always had a smile on his face, a kind word, and a helping hand.

Doug was such a wonderful man and he will be missed immensely.  Over the last 9 years I have looked to him as a father figure and he was so wonderful about listening and truly caring for everyone. I even got him out of his chair to dance at my wedding if you can believe that one!  One great memory I have is when he tried to whisper something to me in a very large meeting and we discovered that Doug was unable to whisper.  Try as he may, it was more like his normal voice...just a little more breathy.  He will forever have a place in my heart and I am thankful to have known such a wonderful man.
