Henry Stokols, age 98, passed away on December 6. He was the beloved husband of the late Bernice Arkis Stokols.
Henry was born on July 27,1920 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the youngest son of Ukrainian immigrants Meyer and Frieda (nee Koffman) Stokols. He was preceded in death by his loving brothers Sol, Irv, and Jerry.
Henry and Bernice retired to San Jose, California in 1987 and moved to Mission Viejo in 2013.
Henry was a proud WWII veteran where he served as an Army Medic in the Pacific Theatre. He enjoyed reading, watching sports, playing cards, and a good joke. Henry spoke Yiddish fluently. He was outgoing and was loved by all who knew him.
Henry is survived by his daughters Marleen (Dean Didech) and Shari (Steve Raskin) his grandchildren Kate Didech (Chris Barnett), Jeremy Raskin and Eli Raskin and many nieces and nephews.
