Hey Pops, Veterans Day is tomorrow and so I am thinking of you. I didn't know that we could leave messages here. I miss you, miss your calls every weekend to catch up with everything. Miss your jokes, and stories.
You taught me everything and some times I had to learn "the hard way" I know I am the man, father, and now a Papa because of you. I learned so much watching you be a man, father, and a Papa. You were always in my corner no matter what and I want to be that kind of Dad, and Papa for my kids and grand kids.

It was an honor to meet this amazing man, Uncle Joe.  We had the pleasure of seeing him again last year in California right after his 100th birthday.  What an inspiration to witness his energy and sharp mind.  My sons got a chance to play pool with him, which we are grateful for the memories.   Sitting with his wonderful children and grandchildren was a tribute to this loving husband/father/grandfather/brother/uncle .  He did a wonderful job and all loved him. That is priceless to attain such respect and love always. He was so pleased and emotional when we visited him. We are all so happy that we had the chance to do this. I’m so sorry we can’t be there to pay our respects in person. May God give you strength during this time.  It won’t be easy but I pray for the family. Love Debra Barone and family from NY

To the Barone family we extend our sincere sympathy on the passing of Joseph C. 

Unfortunately, we never got to meet him in person, but he welcomed our son Eoin (married to Alexandra) into his family and was so kind to him.  Everyone who spoke about him always smiled when his name was mentioned, which says a lot about the kind of person he was. There is no doubt that he led a big and full life and he greatly impressed  everyone who knew and loved him.

May Joseph rest in peace.
