Joe always made me laugh. He was a great lunch buddy for the six years we worked together at school. I will miss his great enthusiasm and clever wit.

Joe we were a long way away from S.W.G.L.L. your dad was our coach along with Coach Jesse Condet back in 79-80 season on the B Pirates. I recently caught wind about your doings at GG Football. I was like hey I knew him. I had hoped to find you and catch up. Bummed that didn't happen. Don't know why you had to go, but I'll assume God had a Coaching spot open and you were his guy. The Chosen One. God Bless you and your wife. Coach John. I'm sorry for your loss. As a 10 year old kid I learned a lot from you in that one season. Hang in there.

I am so sorry for the family of Joe. I know how devastated you feel. Two years ago I suddenly lost my wife of 10 years at the age of 36. The hurt is overpowering. I played football with Joe at Goldenwest in the early 90s. He was an awesome football player and just an all around great guy. Times like this you wish you had kept in contact with all your old friends. Joe will be so missed by all of us. David Singletary.. Long Beach CA

I'm sorry that I didn't get to know Joe. (We are old friends of Nicole's and her family.) From the very complimentary comments I have read I can tell he was an outstanding man.
Sending our love and sincerest sympathy to his family.
