

Linda Palitz, 82 of Murrieta, passed away on 2/2/25 at Vineyard Place Memory Care surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held Thursday Feb 6th, 2025, 1 pm at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park, 1625 Gisler Ave, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Linda was born on October 11,1942, to David and Frieda (Slatky) Stolack in Brooklyn, New York. She moved to California at the age of 2. After graduating high school, she married her first husband Gene Gottlieb. They had two children, Joyce and Marc. She married her second husband Murray Palitz after meeting at the Jewish Community Center in West LA. They had one child, Adam. Murray had 3 sons, Jeffrey, Michael and Davin which became part of Linda’s blended family.
Linda spent most of her working years in the legal field, working as a legal administrator in the family law firm. She traveled to many countries in the world visiting Spain, Portugal, China, Taiwan, Israel, England, Scotland, Italy, Mexico and Canada. She also enjoyed the arts and wherever she went, Linda never missed an opportunity to visit a museum, listen to jazz or classical music, or catch a live performance at the theater.
Linda attended law school, including a summer program in Cambridge, England and received her law degree in 1986. Linda was very proud of that achievement.
Linda was very health conscious and enjoyed swimming, spin class, working out at the gym, yoga, pilates, and dancing. She even ran marathons well into her 70’s, coming in 2nd place for her age group in the Long Beach Marathon at the age of 75.
Linda was a lifetime member of Hadassah. She was also involved with the National Council of Jewish Women and many other charitable organizations.
Linda was very social and would strike up a conversation with anyone. She loved visiting and spending time with her friends over the years.
Most of all Linda enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family was the most important thing to Linda.
She is survived by two sons Marc Gottlieb & Adam (Jennifer) Palitz, one daughter Joyce (David) Mikkelson, two granddaughters Erin Rowe & Amanda Mikkelson, two grandsons Max & Kai Palitz, two great grandchildren Ezra and Olivia Rowe and her sister Elaine Endsley and her two daughters Lisa and Tina, as well as many blended family members
She was preceded in death by her parents David and Frieda Stolack and both husbands.
