Maria’s Life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her love, generosity, thoughtfulness and caring ways brought so much joy to people who have known her. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, reading books,going to casinos, collecting pictures and taking care of her only grandson .
Maria is survived by her husband, Arthur T. Chu of Santa Ana, CA , daughter Estela Marie Habermehl, grandson Seth Lee Habermehl of Ladera Ranch, CA .
“A memorial service will be held at St John’s Catholic Church, Costa Mesa, CA on Saturday, October 8, 2011 by Father Phillipp. Interment will follow at Harbor Lawn-Mt.Olive Memorial Park, Costa Mesa, CA.
