Mathias was born in Park, Kansas on April 28, 1929. He graduated from Park High School and received his Bachelors of Accounting from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO. He was married to Dolores Kassel on June 08, 1957.
Matt had worked in accounting for Firestone and for the County of Orange. He was a member of St.John the Baptist Catholic church for many years and had a passion for baseball. He played softball until 2021. He loved Polka music and danced whenever he had a chance. He loved his family, he was a true family man.
He is survived by his spouse Dolores Kaiser, children; Ken Kaiser (Debra-dec), Eileen (David) Harvey, Mike Kaiser, Tom (Janine) Kaiser and Helen (Jon) Risser. Grandchildren; Rachel Kaiser, Ben Harvey, Blake Kaiser, Morgan Kaiser, Jessica (Rick) Lentini, Noah Risser, Grace Risser. Great grandchildren; Liam Lentini, and Jeffrey Ryan Lentini.
