Mel and I were both in the Morningside Marching band.
I remember when we got our new red and white uniforms with a big plume on top of our hats.  We pranced around the field like we just won a prize.
 Mel was a nice classmate and band partner. He was an all around great guy.
I saw him at a couple of our class reunions and he was still a great guy.  One  I was lucky to have had a chance to know.
I am sure he will be missed by all

Thank you for sharing so many wonderful photos.  A touching tribute to a life well-lived and a man well loved and who loved well his family.  I know Mr. Lubman will greatly missed.
