Patricia was a homemaker and participated in her Church (Immaculate Heart of Mary) and her community. She taught catechism classes for years and supported her husband’s work in the St. Vincent de Paul Society until his unexpected death at the age of fifty. Her passion for sewing was evident as she designed and made hers and her sister’s dresses for school dances and eventually their wedding gowns; the list of exquisite gowns, dresses and suits she made are numerous and span generations. Patricia had longed to be an educator or a dressmaker, but she fell in love and married Myron Ryan. The Lord blessed them with four healthy children – Myron, Marian, Erin, and Matthew and pursuing her passions she continued to educate and make dresses for all those she loved.
Patricia was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her sister, Fern Diederich, her sons, Mryon and Matthew Ryan, and her daughters, Marian Ryan and Erin New, her son-in-law, David New, and her daughter-in-law, Trannie Ryan and her grandchildren, Kelly Henry, Kachina Baier, Kym Flores, Danielle Ryan, Emily Ryan, and her great grandchildren, Kate and Jamie Baier and Magnus Keefe.
