Born on November 27, 1928, in Dallas, Texas, Patricia was the daughter of Mary Dempsey Ross and W.A. Ross. She grew up in the Arcadia Park neighborhood of Dallas and graduated from Sunset High School in 1946.
Patricia later moved to California, where she married JT Simmons and devoted her life to raising her family while building a career as a legal secretary. Patricia and JT were faithful parishioners of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa, California.
Following her retirement, Patricia dedicated countless hours to serving her church community. She volunteered as Secretary of the Altar Society and enthusiastically supported parish activities, including bake sales, Christmas boutiques, and the annual St. John the Baptist Festival. Her generosity, dedication, and spirit of service touched many lives.
Patricia is survived by her three sons: Michael Simmons, Paul Simmons, Mark Simmons and his wife, Sharon Simmons. She was a devoted grandmother to her two grandsons, Matthew Simmons and Nicholas Simmons, whom she loved and adored.
As the beloved matriarch of her family, Patricia will be remembered for her strength, kindness, faith, and unwavering love. She was deeply cherished by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will immediately follow the Mass.
No reception will be held.
