I knew Randie from working with her at Auction.com and there was always something so pure about how she expressed herself. When something excited her, her bright smile and joy shone through, unfiltered and so enthusiastic. And when something bothered her, she couldn’t contain it even if she tried. But that’s a good thing. She was always herself, through and through, and it’s a quality many wish they had. Professionally, she was so hardworking and driven but she was at her absolute best when she was a mother. She was at her happiest when she spoke about Rachel and Ben and her pride in them was apparent. My deepest condolences to them and her family. May she Rest In Peace. 

What I remember most of Randie is her beautiful smile and positive energy. She gives her all when tackling anything. 💜🙏✨

Dear Rachel and Ben,

I am both heartbroken and stunned to have learned of your mom’s passing. While I never ‘met’ her in person, she and I shared a similar journey in how we grew our families. I was introduced to her, I believe, through our adoption agency ahead of traveling to Kazakhstan. We were supposed to be there part of the same time but as adoptive families know all too well, well laid plans are often altered. We corresponded about our processes, our excitement, our joy and being new moms again. Ben, you and my son Henry are the same age. Rachel, you and my daughter Frances are the same age. We communicated early on by email and then mostly through Facebook.

I only know her as a fierce, loving mother and a kind person to all. Living in Illinois I had hopes one day that we would finally meet in person and that our families would meet, too. If ever you wanted to contact me, please do not hesitate. What a tremendous loss to so many. My deepest regrets to the entire Golkin family, most especially to you both. May Randy’s memory be a blessing. 

Randie and I were carpool buddies for 2 years while we both worked at Experian. She was hard working and very dedicated to Ben and Rachel and always had a ready smile.

Randie was a great friend, the most loving mom, and a brilliant writer and marketing strategist. I am devastated by her passing. She was my desk buddy at Auction.com and we laughed all day. She had the best laugh! She loved sharing stories about Rachel and Ben’s accomplishments and activities. She taught me a lot about Judaism. She walked me out of Auction on my very last day and she gave me the biggest, warmest hug. I am going to miss her so much.

I had the pleasure of working with Randie at Experian and then brought her over to Auction.com to be a part of our team.  

She was a wonderful employee and teammate, but more importantly, a wonderful person.  Bright, cheerful and positive.  She was a hard worker and devoted to her family.  An absolutely pleasure to be around.

I'm deeply saddened by her passing.  She will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family and close friends.
