To my Rudy,

I stand here today with a heavy heart, but also one overflowing with gratitude for the life we shared. You were my partner, my rock, and a man with a heart bigger than words can describe.

I want to thank you for the beautiful life we built together. Thank you for being the thoughtful, generous, and compassionate man I fell in love with. Our home was always filled with your spirit—whether you were dancing to your favorite music, getting lost in a movie, or making us all laugh with your quick wit.

I will even miss that "grumpy" side of yours—the kind we all knew was just a mask for your deep love and humor. It was a part of you that I cherished because it was honest and uniquely yours.

Most of all, I want to thank you for the greatest gifts you ever gave me, our children. Through them, your strength, your kindness, and your big heart will continue to live on every single day. I see you in them, and that is a comfort I will carry forever.

I thank God every day for giving you to me, for the years we spent side by side, and for the love that remains even now. You were a wonderful husband and an incredible father.

Rudy, thank you for everything. I love you, and I will keep your song playing in my heart until we meet again.
