Sharon Anne Sachs

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Anne Sachs, wife, mother, and friend, on March 3, 2025, at the age of 82, in Huntington Beach, CA. Sharon was born on August 4, 1942, in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. She graduated from Montreal General Hospital Nursing School in 1963 and moved to Los Angeles, CA in 1964 to begin her long and dedicated nursing career.

Sharon’s professional career as a Registered Nurse was marked by her many years of compassion and dedication, making a difference in the lives of her patients and colleagues, always treating them with kindness, respect, and empathy. Her commitment to helping others extended far beyond her career—she was a constant source of support and comfort to all who knew her.

Sharon was married to Byron Sachs for 51 years and was a devoted mother to their daughter, Marla Sachs. She found great joy in spending time with her family. Sharon’s life was filled with hobbies and activities that brought her happiness—crocheting, knitting, cooking, and baking were among her favorite pastimes. She was also a passionate animal lover, finding great comfort and joy in the companionship of her cats.

Throughout her life, Sharon touched the hearts of many with her warm, generous spirit. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need, and her caring nature left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Byron, her daughter, Marla, and countless other family members, friends, and colleagues who will miss her deeply.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, her family kindly asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association (heart.org).
