Stacy took with her the love of the people of City of Garden Grove. The community she served so well.

Blessings to the Margolin Family during this time. 

I first befriended Stacy when I picked her up at the airport the weekend we were judging the Miss Santa Cruz County pageant together. We were also roommates that weekend. I instantly loved everything about her from the moment she got into my car. Her wit, her sarcasm, her love of life. 

I was fortunate to stay in touch with her over time, be called a pageant minion and judge her pageant twice.  

Our last time together was this past Augist when I was in SoCal for work. We met for lunch and I could tell that she was happy and in a good place with her life. 

I strangely found it fitting that Stacy would leave us on a day when we celebrate love. Because her heart was over-flowing with love. I miss her already, but I know I will see Stacy again. Until then I and all of us will #carryon. Godspeed my friend. You are forever loved!

Stacy was an amazing woman who I first met at a Strawberry Festival karaoke contest when I was 17 yrs old and afterwards she continued to ask me to be a part of the Miss Garden Grove Scholarship Pageant. While very hesitant, I joined the pageant and gained skills and confidence from Stacy that have helped me with job interviews and every day life experiences that I will forever be grateful for. She was an amazing mentor to me and has inspired so many young women to be the best that they can be.  
Later, I had the pleasure of joining the Miss Garden Grove committee with Stacy and spent many dinners and events with her discussing how we can better the scholarship program and the Garden Grove community.  She worked extremely hard and put so much effort into this program and there are many young women who would be devastated by the news of her passing, just as I was.  Stacy was such an influential woman in my life and I loved her fun-loving personality.  There will never be another person with her same great sense of humor. My heart breaks for her family and best friend, Jennifer.  I know we'll see her in a better place some day. "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." (Matthew 5:4)

Growing up, I met my California Cousins in 1972, again in '77, when they came here; then I went there in '79 and '88. After I had my first daughter in 1990 I always talked about getting back to see my family again. It was always my goal. Stacy and I had our sleepover at our Grandparents in '77. We did all the family stuff in '79, and of course we were there to celebrate Stacy's Bat Mitvah. In '88 we had the only grown-up time we would ever have together. I'm glad I didn't know that back then. But then again, maybe if I had I would have said screw the bills just one time, and hightailed it back for some more fun times with this amazing cousin of mine. In junior high we were pen-pals. Our dads talked all the time, and my dad repeated everything about everyone to me. I wanted Stacy's life in California so much!! It all sounded so incredible and so fun! And he made me feel like I was right there with her. He made me feel like we were BFF's. But it's obvious reading all the comments that's because Stacy was as incredible and fun as I always believed her to be. I wasn't fantasizing about who she was, all these years. I was remembering. And now I know for sure what I missed out on by not skipping a couple of months worth of bills. I just really believed I had time. And why not? We are not even 50 years old. You would think that by now, I of all people would have learned tomorrow isn't promised. My heart hurts for what I can never have. I can never have one more really fun visit with my California Cousin. But I will hold all my memories, in my heart, of every conversation we've ever had, in person, on the phone, online... I so wish I still had those letters from our pen-pal days, I will hold in my heart memories of her Bat Mitvah, running around Grandma and Grandpa's backyard BBQ in 1972 when we were just 4 and 5, being left with the babysitter we had never met, the night Elvis died, while our parents went out, and a weekend that should have been ruined by a very painful sunburn but was instead one of the best of my life because Stacy made me smile and laugh instead for the entire weekend. Because she knew how because that is who she was. RIP Stacy. I love you.

Stacy was a remarkable woman with a zest for life and I was fortunate to have her friendship.  Her memory will always bring a smile to my heart. My deepest sympathy to you, Connie, Raphe and family.

I was one of the "sisters" that Stacy found through her work on Miss Garden Grove. My sister thought she and I had similar personalities and invited me to a committee meeting, which led to a years-long commitment. Stacy's passion for helping people was infectious and I knew she was doing good things. I will miss her dearly and am thankful for the time we were able to spend together.

Stacy we had some good evenings out I won't forget how many times you told me you went to school with my sister. I heard it so may times I could even finish your sentence for you...lol. RIP dear friend you'll be missed.

I had the honor of meeting you Stacy at Christmas at Annie's.  You were with your lifetime friend Jennifer Gallo.  I had never seen exhibited the unique female friendship you and Jen had together.  It was something so huge, i would have to say it was out of this world type of friendship, very spititual yet in this earthen plane.  I will pray for your family and especially for Jen.  She will see you again in heaven.  You are in paradise.  Love Bev, Annie's mom

RIP Stacy, you will be missed by so many, you touched a lot of hearts and your sense of humor was great!!

She loved and lived a lifetime in 49 years. She cared and shared so many of her passions in that unique Stacy way that kept us in laughter and reflection. Her Strawberry plates and interesting adventures kept us smiling. Her love of life, family,friends and community were jewels in that crown she helped so many attain. I have no doubt that she leaves behind  a tribe of others who will follow in that same Stacy passion. Stacy I know that Heavenly crown will shine down on all of us that we're forever changed by having know you.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Connie, Raphe and everyone who knew and loved Stacy.  She was a joy to know and a blessing to the City of Garden Grove and the Miss Garden Grove Pageant.  She will be deeply missed but the City was forever bettered by her touch.  Rest in peace, dear Stacy.  The world is a better place because you were here.

Stacy was the most beautiful soul.  She gave of herself to anyone who wanted to learn more about philanthropic work and did it with humor. Stacy was my Strawberry palshe would always take time to teach me something new about the city she loved so much.  Her humor was contagious and she always made me laugh, even when I wanted to cryshe told me Never let them get you down.  I will miss you so much, but this is not good-bye my friend---for I know that I will see you again.and I will be on your committee in heaven!

A deep soul with a tremendous laugh, big love for her community and a glorious example of a selfless human.  May she rest in peace.  God Bless Connie, her family and her abundant wealth of friends.  What a great gift she was here on Earth and will continue to be,  working as a heavenly angel.

Stacy was a mentor.  Before I started our own local pageant my husband and I attended Miss Garden Grove.  I met Stacy when I was working at Garden Grove Hospital where she brought her contestants to a Chamber mixer.  Her kindness and the amazing contestants made my husband and I realize this was an organization we wanted to be involved in.  Stacy you will be missed.  It won't be the same at state meetings without your humor.  Rest In Peace.

To lose someone as special as Stacy is so hard.  She will live in all our hearts forever.  I offer my condolences to her family and friends and may all their memories be as special as she was.

When I think about Stacy, I think about her humor, passion and energy. Her love for the women in the Miss Garden Grove and Miss California programs just radiated from her and she was deeply loved back. My condolences to her family and loved ones.

Stacy was one of the most amazing women I've ever met. She was Superwoman. I hope she knows how much she is loved by so many people. She was so special to me and nobody will ever take her place, but I know I'll see her again someday.

My cousin Stacy, was a wonderful remarkable person.  Always memorable and funny.  Though I had not seen her in some time, with her schedule that's understandable, each interaction had it's special place in my mind.
  Her parents pride in her accomplishments was matched by the by the love and respect of those she worked with and mentored to this day.

We have lost a star that lit up many lives.

I first met Stacy when I was about 8 years old when my sister competed in the Miss Garden Grove pageant. Little did I know then that she would have such an impact on my life as a young woman. I first competed in the Miss GG competition at age 17, she took me under her wing and helped me find my voice and confidence. I came back to the pageant when I was 22, where Stacy once again, took me under her wing and helped me learn even more about myself. A few years later she asked me if I would be interested in being the the Miss GG pageant choreographer, I accepted right away  knowing how much more I would be learning from this amazing woman. She saw in me qualities that I didn't even know I had. I'm forever grateful to Stacy for the many opportunities she gave me, believing in me, believing in my work and trusting in me, even when I didnt feel those things about myself.  My heart hurts knowing that this fine woman is no longer with us but to know she touched so many lives including mine brings me solace. Knowing that there are women out there who were lucky enough to have the amazing Stacy in their lives brings me peace. I hope it brings everyone peace. She will be missed terribly but never forgotten, she will live forever in our hearts!!

It's hard to imagine life in Garden Grove without Stacy. She was the warm, friendly and fun-loving corner post of society here. For all the things she did for Garden Grove, her passing has left a void that will be very hard to fill. Take a well earned rest now, Stacy. My condolences to Connie and the family.
