It is with heavy heart we regretfully announce the passing of our beloved mother Tomasita on Sept 8 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whom she loved so much and passed away peacefully. Caused by kidney failure.
Tomasita was born on June 21 1930 to Aleja and Felix in Humacao, Puerto Rico. She moved to New York City and was an X-Ray Technician for a St Vincent Hospitol. Eventually she moved to Anaheim with my father Charles whom she adored dearly. They both owned and Tomy managed 2 Apt. Buildings 32 apts while Charles owned and managed 2 bars, restaurants, dry cleaners, tuxedo shops. Charles successful businesses allowed Tomy to stay home and raise her children. She dedicated her whole life to both her children and grandchildren. She was the strongest, bravest, smartest, loving, caring, giving, kindest, most dedicated woman to ever walk this earth. She gave her all and never complained. She is our rock. Tomy was an excellent mother and very protective. She gave us the world. God Blessed us with our beautiful mother. She loved cooking and everyone loved her rice and beans. She was the best cook and loved sharing her food with everyone. She enjoyed gardening and crotching too. Her family always came first. She kept the family together and taught us how important family is and to always stay together. She was fun to be around always smiling and laughing Everyone who crossed her path fell in love with her. She welcomes everyone into her home.
Her passing is a great loss to the world considering how much joy she brought to so many people. She is greatly missed.
It broke our hearts to lose you, part of us went with you. Your love is still our guide. Our family chain is broken, nothing seems the same. As God calls us 1 by 1 the chain will link again. Up to the day she had her stroke she was driving and honking in front of Nancy's house and shopping daily. She is the most beautiful mother whom we will cherish forever.
Tomasita was predeceased by Charles (husband 1982) and Charles Jr. (son 1972) and Noemi (daughter). She is survived by children John - Nancy - Diana.
