

Vallabhdas Hargovind Bhatt, 88, of Westminster, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 13, 1938, in Tanzania, and lived a long and meaningful life centered on love, family, and tradition.
Vallabhdas spent much of his life in Dar es Salaam, where he built a career in logistics, sales, and transportation. Through his hard work and determination, he created a life for his family rooted in stability and care.
After moving to the United States, he continued his career in sales at a car dealership, where his warm personality and natural ability to connect with others left a lasting impression. He carried himself with pride and was always known for driving in style, something that reflected both his character and his joy for life.
He had a lively spirit and found happiness in the little things. Whether it was watching cricket or basketball, or sharing a laugh over his signature collection of unique ringtones, he had a way of bringing light and joy into everyday moments. Being around him meant feeling welcomed, entertained, and cared for.
He was the beloved husband of Bhadra Bhatt, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, & partnership.
He is lovingly remembered and survived by his brothers, Kirit Hargovind Bhatt and Bharat Hargovind Bhatt; his children, Kalpesh Vallabhdas Bhatt, Pooja Vallabhdas Brahmbhatt, Devang Vinubhai Brahmbhatt, Annie Vallabhdas Bhatt, & Brian Joseph Sette; and his cherished grandchildren, Isha Kalpesh Bhatt, Aarya Kalpesh Bhatt, Aarav Kalpesh Bhatt, Diya Devang Brahmbhatt, Armaan Rickey Bijlani, Ayana Rickey Bijlani, Alayna Reign Sette, and Adrian Rome Sette.
To his family, he was more than a husband, father, and Dada. He was a steady presence, a source of strength, and someone whose love could always be felt.
Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by funeral services at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at Harbor Lawn Mt. Olive Mortuary.
Vallabhdas will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. His warmth, humor, and the love he gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and all those whose lives he touched.
