Pastor William St. Clair Acton

Pastor Bill and his wife, Fay, were married for 61 years and spent a wonderful life together. They lived and raised their family in Costa Mesa, CA. Pastor Bill studied theology at Biola University and received his M.Div. from California Baptist Seminary. Pastor Bill and Fay planted five churches together and he was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. He loved preaching God’s word and discipling others to live a life devoted to Christ. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who dearly loved all his family and friends. Pastor Bill was cherished by his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Pastor Bill is survived by his daughter, Debbie Wolf of Mission Viejo, CA, son, Tim Acton of Rim Rock WA, and daughter Beckie Dunn of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. Pastor Bill is also survived by his five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Fay, his parents Henry and Daisy Acton, sister Virginia Acton and brothers Richard Acton, Wilson Acton and Hayes Acton.

Colossians 3:16-17 describe his life: 16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

We will be celebrating Pastor Bill Acton's​ life on June 16th at 1:00 pm at Christ Community Church in Laguna Hills. A reception will follow.
