Predeceased by her husband Henry, parents Dave and Agnus, siblings Berith, Elwyn and Gwen.
Alwena was born in Carmarthen, Wales, United Kingdom. The family moved to Petersfield, Manitoba when Alwena was a baby, her life was in Manitoba. After schooling she set up shop as a hairdresser until marrying and starting a family whom she leaves behind to mourn. Sons Brian(Rachel), Barry(Cathy) and daughter Angela(Kirby) Bishop, grandchildren Briann and Brendan, great grandchildren Ava, Harley and step greats Cassidy and Annabelle, and many nieces and nephews.
After living in the Comox Valley for 35 years she passed away with family by her side at Providence Living where she was given wonderful care. She will be missed and forever loved.
