Born in Wolverhampton, England on March 9th, 1920.
Immigrated to Canada as a young girl and grew up in Mission, BC. She married Felix on December 7th, 1941. Yes, the same day as Pearl Harbour. Barbara lived in several locations including Alert Bay, Victoria, Sicamous, Chilliwack and finally Comox Valley. Barbara's husband predeceased her after 63 years of marriage.
Barbara was the embodiment of a true homemaker. Her life was devoted to her marriage and raising her children. She was an avid gardener.
Predeceased by her husband Felix and grandson Jamie.
Survived by sons Wayne (Sonya) of Agassiz, Bob (Carrol) of Peachland and daughter Marlene Allott of Comox (John). Five grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
