Betty Jean Paling, born on July 27, 1956, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 69. A resident of Courtenay, British Columbia, Betty was known for her compassionate, generous, and kind-hearted nature.
Betty built a successful cleaning business that has been operating in the Comox Valley and surrounding area for more than 25 years. Her dedication and hard work were evident in the thriving business she nurtured.
In her personal life, Betty had a passion for travelling and enjoyed upgrading her home with new styles and renovations. Her love for life and new experiences was infectious to those around her.
Betty's legacy is one of love; she loved hard and was deeply cherished by her family. She is survived by her loving husband Rae, son Ian (Toni), daughter Anna (Bob), step-children Danielle (Logan), Caitlin (Drew), and Rob (Jasmine), as well as grandchildren Declan, Jordan, Nova, Riley, Matilda, Grayson, and Ella.
