She was born on February 19, 1946 in Vancouver, BC, third daughter to Peggy (Mairs) and Bill Tuley. She is survived by her husband Henry Lacourse; children Elisse (Lloyd), Corinna, Terri-Jean (Dave), Henry, Michael; stepchildren Sheila (Rick) and Peter; Siblings Peggy (Sam), Terrie (Bert), Donnie (Deb), Jeannie (Dan); Grandchildren Amy (John), Tia (Brandon), Andrew, Robert, Brandon (Ashley), Kiesha (Jamie), Steve (Lynnae), Justin (Brittany), Jordan (Patti), Drew, Brandon (Julia), Nicholas, Aaron, Rayelle, Braden, Nick, Seryna, Danika and Gabriella; 21 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is predeceased by her eldest sister Doreen and granddaughter Sheena.
Billie was renown for her intelligence, wonderful sense of humour, unyielding compassion and limitless love. She had an affinity for reading, cooking and was the consummate matriarch and source of wisdom for her entire family. She will be deeply missed and loved always.
A celebration of life will be held at the Cumberland Legion on November 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM.
