Carol was an amazing sister in-law. She welcomed me with open arms as her brothers second wife. When we lived in Florence, OR in the 80's she always made it a point to visit us when she was in town. One particular memory comes to mind. She had come to visit, and we wanted to take her to dinner. Our favorite restaurant was in Reedsport 30 minutes away. We all jumped into my little Nisson and headed south for dinner. We had a Judd's tape (yes, tape) playing, and all the way there we sang Judd songs at the top of our lungs as if we were teenagers on a Saturday night.
Our lives are all a little dimmer without this beautiful lady, sister, and friend

This is from Carol's little brother, who we all know is a big softie and so broken up at the loss of his sister and their past as the only siblings in their family who had the same parents. They joked often that they were step brother and sister as their parents divorced and remarried in between their births.
"The fun times fade with age, but the memories flash back in your head. I will always remember the birthday calls which I am not sure she ever missed. Let me tell you, there were a lot of them. So it's true, you always remember the good times. I will always remember and love Carol"
