Caroline Cranmer

passed away May 18, 2012. Born in Kingcome Inlet, B.C.

Caroline Cranmer was a New Year’s Day baby… January 1, 1929… that might explain a lot?! She loved to celebrate a New Year with optimism and cheer! She also loved her mother Ethel Pearson very much! One of their favorite past times was spending time together playing “Bingo”. Even when Caroline was known to say… I don’t have any money Mom… her mother’s response…” I will pick you up at…” They had other favorite social outings but bingo was one that was definitely a multi-generational family activity… a few daughters… even a son or two would join them for a chance at the “jackpot”. It was “one” of their favorite places to socialize.

Caroline also loved to knit. She kept busy making socks, toques, blankets and even an occasional sweater. Her sweaters didn’t always look like they were knit to fit but they sure were nice to receive. Watching her knit was as much fun as receiving or “buying” one of her handy crafts. When she watched WWE wrestling her fingers would fly as did her arms when she jumped up from the couch and screamed… kick ‘em in the ...!

Many of her children and grandchildren still watch wrestling today and remember “Granny” fondly... no matter what her age… she loved wrestling!

Coronation Street and other soap operas became a popular daily or weekly activity for those introduced to and then addicted to her crazy shows… thanks Mom.

Caroline dearly loved all her family… especially her 7 children. She was fortunate that she celebrated all her kids 40th birthdays and then some. She also loved her 13 grand-children and her 11 great grand-children and many nieces, nephews and their families.

Caroline is survived by brother and sister, Reginald (Rusty) Wilson 85 yrs old, Emily (nee Wilson) 82 yrs old and her youngest brother Bill Wilson. She is also survived by her 7 children: Valerie, Myrna, Geary, Robert, Jeannie, Vera and Billy. Her 13 Grandchildren; Sean, Michael, Katherine, Shane, Alisa, Peter, Jesse, Cody, Kelii, Kalum, Melissa and Kathleen and her 11 Great-Grandchildren.

Caroline was predeceased by her Grandfather and Grandmother, Hemas Johnson, “Ombli” and Adamma Johnson. Her Mother, Ethel Pearson (nee Coon and Wilson) (Nov 1999). Her father, Alfred Coon and step-fathers Charlie Wilson and Fred Pearson (May 2001). Her sisters “Shadow” Vera Garseth (nee Wilson) and Donna Tyndall (nee Cook) and her brother Calvin Wilson. Her ex-Husband Doug Eugene Cranmer (Jan 31, 2009), past partners Gordon Wright ‘Scottie” and Bill Millard. She was also predeceased by her beautiful niece, Luann Garseth (March 10, 2005) and her Grandson Aaron Malboeuf.
