Dear Jo and Family: We share in your loss and understand the pain. Gabe will be remembered for many reasons - what a guy!! Of course today it is the snow - he would be calling sometime soon to see if we are (his words|) "up to our a---s in snow - we would both laugh - him the loudest because it was always warmer in Comox. Ed and Gabe solved the problems of the world many time over for sure and Del and Gabe connected with sports. He was a man of truth and honor and held true to his convictions no matter what. He was a proud Canadian and a proud veteran and even prouder of his family. Our memories will keep him alive and we hold true to the knowledge that God has promised that we will meet again. He has run the race and fought the fight and has received his reward. Love you all. Del and Ed

Gabe was the most wonderful person I had the privilege of knowing - he was a great friend to my husband Fred who passed away 10 years ago - I know they are having a wonderful reunion at this time along with a bottle of whiskey. I will miss him greatly. During
our lifetime we meet many people who have an influence and create many wonderful memories. ..this was Gabe. It is hard to put into words the sadness I feel - I know he is in a better place. Love Jean
