Gord as he liked to be called lost his battle after a lengthy illness. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Lou and his furbabies, Zoey and Sushi. Survived by his loving wife and best friend of 24 years, Sherri, his sister Doreen Haynes "Wendel" who has been there for us thru the last three very trying years. Also left to mourn is his daughter, Brittany Thompsom and granddaughter, Ava, his stepchildren Erika Hodgson and Jeff Miller, and sister's Leona Lloyd and Linda Krisofferson, brother Mike as well as many other friends and extended family. I loved you more with every breath, truly madly deeply do. A special thanks to Dr. Booth, Nanaimo kidney, CCU Royal Jubliee Victoria and Nanaimo Pallative Care. We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the Danyluk family.
My memories of Gord span fifty plus years. Shenanigans as children & into adulthood still bring a smile to my face.
Gord was a good person, caring, thoughtful and kind.
His smile could brighten up a west coast winters day.
Words can't express how deeply Gord will be missed by all who knew & loved him.
Our love, Patty & family
