Dad, I have not been able to write until today. It has been 1 year since we lost you, the heartbreak does not go away. I wish I had spent more time with you, I wish I had not been so terrible with phone calls, I just wish I had more time. More time to show you how much you always meant to me, more time to make you proud of my work and personal achievements. More time to just spend with you and create more memories. I miss you so much and love you forever and always. Please keep us all safe up there and I will think about watching Sunday Football again when it starts up. xoxo Love Alicia. 

We just recently learned of Graham's sudden death.  We were acquainted with Bill and Tilly.  We are deeply touched by your loss.  When we met Graham he was playing football.  He was a very polite and friendly person.

Am so sorry to hear of Graham’s passing. I had really hoped to reconnect with him. We spent time together on wilderness canoe trips in our mid teens and saw each other on occasion as our parents were close friends. We had good laughs together as kids and young adults. Many condolences to his family. I’m so sorry Tilly.

We are so sad to hear of the loss of Graham and our hearts go out to Jo-Ann and family.  Graham and I flew together for many years both in Greenwood and Comox and I always valued his friendship and advice.  He was a true professional and I will miss him dearly.  We are very sorry for your terrible loss and grief.

I met Graham when he was transferred to the Comox Valley in the early 90's.  My first and lasting impressions of the man was his friendly personality and his great sense of humour. Our sincerest regrets to his family and friends. He will be very much missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him.

So very sorry to hear of the loss of Graham. Memories of him go way back to Nav school and good ole 407 Squadron where I always admired him as a (fellow) Tacnav, and in particular how calm and composed he always remained amidst the flurry of activity in the air. He did our country proud!

I shouldn't be writing this today as it is way to early in Graham's life to speak of him in the  past. I have been looking through old pictures, pictures posted by his wonderful family, and consistently come to the same conclusion. How lucky we are to have shared life, moments and fantastic memories of Graham. We were classmates and spent much of our teen years and as young men together. We were best of friends...he was like a brother. Graham stood with me at the most important event in my life when Cheryl and I were married.  Graham liked to seize the moment and that usually ended up in some hilarious and unpredictable circumstance not only for him, but everyone around. I loved that about him. One Grey Cup morning, Graham called  me and yelled into the phone that we were going to the game as his dad and brother-in-law had "partied" too much the night before and were in no condition to go.  We had a great time right up to the point at the end of the game when he decided that he was going to jump on the field to help Ottawa celebrate. Metro Toronto's finest "convinced" him that was not a good idea and  I think we laughed all the way home. There are too many stories and memories to share in this post so I will stop here. My heartfelt condolences to Jo-Ann, Tilly and the entire Denniston family.  Love to you all.       



I am so sad to hear of the passing of my dear friend, Graham Denniston.  Everyone has that special group of people they remember from their High School days, and all of us who attended Huron Park Secondary in the mid-70's, especially those of us on the football team,  knew and loved Graham. A fierce competitor, he helped lead us to two Championships, but it was the fun and camaraderie we shared off the field the defined him as a true friend.  Over the years, time and distance made it tough to stay in touch, but he was a great guy who will be remembered for legendary gatherings in the Denniston family basement,  his hearty laugh, and certainly that trademark mustache.  Thank you for all the fun times, Amigo.  I will miss you. 

This was incredibly sad news to hear, We went through CFOCS, Navigator training, the MOAT,  our first tour on 415 Sqn, and finally 407 sqn. This is so heart breaking,  I always considered Graham one of my oldest friends. You will create a huge void in the lives of those who loved you. Rest In Peace my dear friend.
