We sadly announce the passing of Heather after a 2 year battle with cancer. Heather was born in Flin Flon, MB. She moved to Campbell River, BC in 1986. Heather loved the outdoors. Anything to do with hiking, camping, and fishing thrilled her. Gardening was a passion of hers. Digging for antique bottles and treasures was also a hobby she enjoyed. She spent most of her working career cooking in camps and restaurants, one of which was a family business. Her cooking career took her on many travel adventures which included Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, and the BC coast. Time spent with her family and friends was always important to her. The family wishes to thank Dr. Howard for his compassionate care and all the staff at Hospice for their care, support, and kindness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on a later date. If anyone wishes, donations to the Valley Hospice Society would be appreciated.
