James Albert Williams

It is with deep love that we announce the passing of James Albert Williams ( Jim) on the evening of March 4th 2026. Jim was born on September 18 1952 in Cumberland and is predeceased by his mother ( Rosalie), father ( Charles), brother ( Randy) and sister ( Edie) and the absolute love of his love Sandra.

Jim is survived by his brother Donny, his sons; Jason (Kim) Christopher ( Cait) Shane ( Stephanie) and his daughter Roberta. His grandchildren; Austin (Chloe), Eric ( Kennedy), Dylan, Cody ( Felicity), Elizabeth, Hailey, Liam and Ryleigh and his great grandchildren Dillion and Alita.

Jim was a family man, who loved his children unconditionally and his grand and great grandchildren even more. Jim worked within the community as a coach for various baseball/fastball teams, at the Fields saw mill and for Comox Valley distribution. Jim believed in his wife’s dream and idea of creating and building a foundation to help support families within the Comox Valley. Jim’s quiet, behind-the-scenes dedication helped YANA to become what it is today.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation made to Y.A.N.A in his memory and honor.
