He left peacefully from home with his wife Nonie and brother Cesar by his side, surrounded by the love of his family.
In the early 1960's he came to Canada from Switzerland with his wife, Rosemarie. He was a mechanic, logger, autobody/painter, fisher, builder and at 60 retrained to begin his dream job, counselling. John was strong individual, who followed his passions to live his life to the fullest.
The biggest joy in his life was his children. He has left a big hole in their lives—John (Tracy), Rick (Maralee), Tom (Cheryl), Nathan (Paige), Olivia (Taylor) and in the lives of his grandchildren, Megan, Michael (Cory), Cole, Maddy, Cohan and Eberle. He also leaves behind his wife, Nonie, brother Cesar (Lee) and nephews Adam (Sher), Stephan (Farah) and family. While sad to leave us he was ready for his next adventure.
An open house will take place at the family home in Merville, November 23, 1-5.
