

She leaves behind husband Dave, Son Gordon and Daughter-in-law Sharleen with Grandchildren; Jason, Joshua and Jodi Ann plus many relatives throughout the maritimes.
She was the youngest of a family of five girls and one boy, all but sisters Yvette and Loretta predeceased her.
Julie came from a small place in New Brunswick called Ste. Anne de Kent. She began working at age 15 in a restaurant in Moncton N.B serving., Later she moved to Halifax and worked for the same family in another restaurant serving, and it was at this time she met her future husband Dave.
She met Dave and was married in 1961 and for the next few years she worked with the elderly and occasionally for a caterer yet again as a server.
In 1974 husband Dave was transferred to Comox it was at this time she worked at the "Old Fort" at the top of Comox Hill with the elderly serving once again.
In the mid 70's revival hit the area and she gave her heart to Jesus. Julie travelled back and forth across Canada with Dave and sons Gordon and Kenneth, living in Dartmouth, NS, Greenwood, NS and then finally settling here in the Comox Valley.
Her Testimony was Jesus and what he accomplished in her life, she shared this with anyone who would listen.
Julie's family wish to extend a special thanks to the ambulance service, Doctors and nurses and staff at the Comox Hospital, and to all those who provided exceptional care to her in her last days,
Julie will be greatly missed by family and many friends.
