Michael was a is survived by his four children (Dallas, Aaron, Annika and Julian), father(Michael), Grandfather (Ivor), wife (Richelle), and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
From a young age Michael had the ability to make people laugh and make people feel comfortable in his presence. He found his love for music very young, which ignited his love for concerts, and he passed that love onto his children. Although he was not musically inclined, he could play a mean air guitar. He was fortunate to spend a lot of his life travelling with his grandparents, parents, and friends. As he grew, he found his way into construction where he continued to thrive in this profession, and it gave him the ability to move around until he found his home on Vancouver Island. Once he made it onto the Island he established himself in the ball community, where he begin to create many friendships that he cherished dearly. Michael spent a lot of his free time in volunteer roles throughout the community. He was an active member in his children’s school and extracurricular sports and was always happy to make a new little friend. Michael met his wife of 15 years on the ball field and their friendship and love only grew from there. Michael was the definition of a hardworking family man. He was full of life and love for those around him. You could always catch him telling terrible dad jokes or just simply smiling at you. Michael was loyal and patient, and always had an ear to listen. He had many passions in his life, but his greatest passions were his children.
