Ray was predeceased by his parents, John & Jean Scarff, and his loving wife of 38 years, Gloria. He is survived by his siblings Loren, Anne, Evan (Debbie), Lloyd and Kenny (Louise); children Carol Lee (Gino) and Paul; Grandchildren Candice and Morgan and Great grandson Lucas.
Ray enjoyed staying busy and working with his hands spending 51 years as a trusted mechanic in the Comox Valley and his weekends working in the garden or picnics at the beach. He could always be counted on as a helping hand, a listening ear or for a great dad joke.
Celebration of life will be held this summer, details to follow.
