Terri Lea Baird

June 29, 1973August 3, 2019

Terri Lea Baird June 29, 1973 – August 3, 2019 Terri passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2019 surrounded by her family. While we feel lost in the darkness without her, we will find our way back by remembering the joy, courage, and generosity she brought to our world. Terri’s grace, love, and heart were gifts to us all and she will be missed dearly by everyone whose life she touched. Terri was happiest when she was outdoors, whether it was walking in the forest with her much-loved dogs, or camping with friends and family. Her love of the outdoors was also reflected in the work she chose. Terri spent the last 20 years at Sylvan Vale Nursery as a horticulturalist. Terri was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her husband Dennis Nelson, her parents Jim and Donna, her brother Chris, and her sister Niki (Todd Young). A celebration of life will be held at the Gardens on Anderton (2012 Anderton Road) on Sunday August 25th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the B.C.S.P.C.A. in Terri’s name.

Hearing the news about Terri really shook me up . A childhood friend is irreplaceable. So many memories of giggling sleepovers talking about stupid boys , collections of scratch and sniff stickers and the ups and downs of teenage life , the music , our hair - we all wanted Niki and Terri ‘s beautiful red but could never achieve it . Terri was that type of friend that made you a better person simply for knowing her :)
I will continue to think of Terri often and always smile when doing so :)
Hugs and kisses to Terri’s loving family.

So very sorry to hear of Terri’s passing and I wish I could attend the celebration of her life on Sunday. So many memories of playing with both Niki and Terri growing up - sleep overs in the basement, roller skating in the cul de sac and being supremely jealous of their matching sparkly purple banana seat bikes. Much love to the entire family. Thinking of you all and sending lots of xoxo.
